The Western Bulldogs have confirmed at least three changes for Sunday’s clash with Carlton at Marvel Stadium.

An extended squad of 26 has been named, with a final team of 22 to be revealed at 5pm on Friday.

Two debutants – midfielder Will Hayes and defender Lachie Young – will run out in red, white and blue for the first time, while Bailey Williams is also set to return to the team for the first time since round one.

Hayes joined the Bulldogs with pick 78 in last year’s NAB AFL Draft, after starring at VFL level in recent years for Footscray.

Young was a rookie selection, taken with pick six in the 2018 NAB AFL Rookie Draft.

Taylor Duryea (hip) and Matt Suckling (groin) have been ruled out through injury, while key forward Josh Schache has been omitted.

Jackson Trengove, Pat Lipinski, Roarke Smith and Lin Jong have also been named on an extended interchange bench.

Jong made a successful return from injury through the VFL last week against Collingwood, while Trengove, Lipinski and Smith have all impressed in the opening rounds of the VFL season.
