Match Preview | Round Five Joel Corey sat down with Bob to preview the round 5 clash against Carlton

Three changes have been made by the Western Bulldogs for their round five clash against Carlton at Marvel Stadium on Easter Sunday.

Midfielder Will Hayes and defender Lachie Young will make their AFL debuts, while Bailey Williams returns to the team after playing in round one.

HAYES, YOUNG TO MAKE AFL DEBUTS

Taylor Duryea (hip) and Matt Suckling (groin) have been ruled out through injury, while key forward Josh Schache has been omitted.

Jackson Trengove, Pat Lipinski, Roarke Smith and Lin Jong have been named as the emergencies.

LAST TIME THEY MET

Round 22, 2018 – The Bulldogs claimed a 17-point win against the Blues late in the 2018 season, in a game which had multiple lead changes. Marcus Bontempelli was prolific, enjoying a game-high 37 disposals, while Josh Dunkley (36 disposals), Lachie Hunter (33) and Jack Macrae (33) were all influential in the win. Lin Jong kicked two goals, while for the Blues, Kade Simpson, Ed Curnow and Patrick Cripps were among the best.
