The Footscray Bulldogs have fallen to Collingwood by 23-points on Sunday afternoon at VU Whitten Oval.

In a see-sawing contest, the ‘Scray led by a point at the final break, before Collingwood slammed on five goals in the final term.

Emerging defender Buku Khamis enjoyed a solid performance, taking four marks and booting one goal, while Ben Cavarra proved vital in the forward line booting an early goal and collecting 15 disposals.

Lewis Young impressed in the backline with nine marks and 16 disposals, while Reuben William continued his solid form, collecting six marks and four tackles.

The loss sees the ‘Scray fall to fifth position on the 2019 VFL ladder, with six wins and a draw from their ten matches, this season.

The Bulldogs will face Port Melbourne next Saturday 29th July at Adcon Stadium from 2:00pm.
