The Western Bulldogs will ramp up preseason preparations in an official AFLW practice match against GWS on Saturday morning at VU Whitten Oval.
The match will be live streamed here from 11.30am AEST.
26 Bulldogs have been named for the hit-out, headlined by former number one draft pick Gabby Newton who will return to the field after missing season six through injury.
Draftees Rylie Wilcox, Heidi Woodley and Keely Coyne will all get their first tastes of AFLW action, with recruits Millie Brown, Daisy Bateman and Brooke Vernon pulling on the red, white and blue for the first time.
Gates at VU Whitten Oval will be open from 10.30am.
It will be the first time all 18 clubs play the same opposition in both the men’s and women’s competitions over the same weekend.
