Warnie from The Traders, AFL.com.au’s NAB AFL Fantasy experts, will be taking a look at the Bulldogs each week exclusive to westernbulldogs.com.au.

LAST WEEK

Heading down the highway to the Cattery, the boys fell eight points short against Geelong.

As one of the premier forwards in the competition, Luke Dahlhaus (132) collected 37 disposals to be the top scorer for the Western Bulldogs. After a couple of low scores, now is the time to jump on Dahlhaus if you don’t own him already due to his breakeven of 73.

Jack Macrae (105) and Liam Picken (101) were the only other players to score triple figures.

In Caleb Daniel’s three games, he added $66,000 to his price and will continue to rise in price off the back of his 65 and breakeven of just 1.

With his lowest score of the season, Matthew Boyd (49) surprisingly didn’t take a mark or lay a tackle on Saturday afternoon.

TOP 5 SCORERS V GEELONG

  • 132 – Luke Dahlhaus (FWD/MID, $480,000)
  • 105 – Jack Macrae (MID, $605,000)
  • 101 – Liam Picken (DEF/MID, $591,000)
  • 98 – Marcus Bontempelli (FWD/MID, $465,000)
  • 88 – Mitch Wallis (MID, $464,000)

ON THE RADAR

The most expensive Bulldog is Jack Macrae (MID, $605,000). Kudos to those who picked him up for over $70K less when we suggested after the bye. His five game average of 119 is one of the best in the competition.

Mitch Wallis (MID, $464,000) has been a handy mid-priced cash cow. Increasing $135K in value, it is time to try to upgrade the midfielder to a fallen premium. Go shopping as you can find some good selections for around $50K more.

WHAT’S COMING UP

The Bulldogs take on the Magpies this Sunday at Etihad Stadium.

Last time the two sides met, the Dogs won the game by eight points. Injured midfielder Tom Liberatore getting his hand on the ball 34 times and laying 10 tackles for a game high 126 Fantasy points.

Jack Macrae (117) also found plenty of the Sherrin with 28 disposals.
