As part of his regular Friday spot of FoxFM,  Fifi & Dave wanted to get to know our skipper a bit better, so they asked him a couple of probing questions.

Here’s how it went.   

If you could take only two guys from the Club on a footy trip, who would it be?

The footy trips I’ve been on, I tend to find a juke box and hover around it, so I’d take the two Toms. 

6-foot-6 Tom Campbell and Tom Liberatore, because the jukebox would be ok.  But the rest of them… the tunes are a bit questionable. The three of us together would like a quirky boy band.

Who is your leave pass?

It would be Maggie Gyllenhaal.  I could do my blokey stuff with Jake, (brother Jake Gyllenhaal) and then Maggie and I could go down to Cinema Nova and have a glass of pinot.  We would do really arthouse things.

If you weren’t a football player, what would you be doing with yourself

It’s a scary thought… everyone in my family is a teacher so I think eventually I would have been sucked into the vortex of teaching but I think I was born to go to university for twelve years.

A professional student who never quite finished. I think I would find myself on a lot of O-Weeks.
