Multicultural round is a highlight on the Bulldogs calendar and this year is no different with an extensive range of entertainment and activities to suit all ages at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

As a precursor to the Bulldogs clash against Essendon, keep an eye on the Etihad concourse, on field and at the Footscray End for a range of multicultural performers, food options, music and entertainment.

With gates opening at 3:00pm there will be a roving chinese dragon, Sounds of Polynesia at the Footscray End,  as well as 120 Bollywood dancers from Shiamak Davar Dance Group providing on field entertainment from 4:10pm

Celebrity chef Shane Delia will be designing the menu in the Presidents Club on game day, and with the theme of multicultural round there will no doubt be a number of culinary delights on offer.

Delia, the owner of Maha restaurant, has been lighting up Melbourne’s food scene for years.

The award-winning chef and restaurateur, best known for his original style of cooking, is also the star of his own TV series, author of Maha Middle Eastern Home Cooking and a charity ambassador.

The President’s Club includes gourmet dining, a beverage package and much more, all while watching the Bulldogs do battle with Essendon in a premium seating bay.

The Bulldogs are also hosting 150 people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds at the Legends Bar during the match.

The group includes participants from the Club’s CALDplay term two football program participants from AMES centres in Melbourne’s West, VU Sunshine and Yarraville community centre.

The group will also participate in a guard of honour on field pre-match, while some will also have the exclusive opportunity to play an AFL 9s game at half time on Etihad Stadium.
