Young Bulldogs midfielders Jack Macrae and Tom Liberatore are proving to be valuable AFL Fantasy selections in 2014, currently featuring in the top 10 in the league for total points.

Macrae is topping the competition with 1820 points in his breakout season (107.1 on average per game), and is a player to consider for all AFL Fantasy coaches heading into the final rounds.

Fellow midfielder Liberatore ($520,898) is also continuing his rise into the AFL’s elite and is in tenth place overall with 1734 points this season.

The duo are joined by former captain Matthew Boyd as Bulldogs players who are averaging over 100 fantasy points per game.

In terms of ruck options heading into AFL Fantasy finals, Will Minson (86.9 ave) is ranked second in the competition behind only Adelaide’s Sam Jacobs.

One of the more consistent performers this season, the 29-year-old’s score has only dipped below 80 points on six occasions – and only once since round seven against Essendon.

Luke Dahlhaus is the Bulldogs best AFL Fantasy option up forward and has continued to lift over the past month of football averaging almost 20 touches, four tackles and a goal per game.

Mitch Honeychurch has been the most popular Bulldogs selection this season with almost 31,000 teams including him in their side after playing three games this season.

But if looking for a point of difference, Marcus Bontempelli ($377,355) is owned by only 1.67% of all coaches in the competition and in the past three rounds he has averaged 85.7 points.
