The corridors of the Kennel will return to life on Monday morning, as the Club’s first to fourth year players return to commence preseason training.

64 days after bowing out of the 2015 Toyota AFL Final Series, the youngest members of the Bulldogs’ playing list will commence their road to season 2016 under the watchful eye of Senior Coach Luke Beveridge and his coaching staff.

Amongst the 20 players to return to the track will be emerging stars Jack Macrae, Marcus Bontempelli and Tom Boyd, while last year’s draft crop - including Caleb Daniel, Bailey Dale and Lukas Webb - will get their chance to complete their first full preseason as AFL players.

A mix of skills, weights and cross training activities will comprise the players’ week one training program, along with the customary fitness testing that comes with this time of the year.

The remainder of the playing group will return to training on 23 November.
