We break down all the key stats to emerge from Sunday's 30-point win over the Bombers.

1. With 127 points, Jordan Roughead was the best player on the ground according to Champion Data’s Player Ratings.  He also won 11 hitouts to advantage and had 11 contested possessions while holding Tom Bellchambers to five disposals.

2. Shane Biggs had a game-high 13 disposals in the second term, far and away the highest among Bulldogs.  He ended up with 29 overall at 86%, took 11 marks, and gained 570 metres.

3. Busy behind the scenes, Mitch Wallis had a game-high 24 pressure acts, seven score involvements, and his three goal assists were second only to Marcus Bontempelli’s four.

4. The Dogs won the clearance battle, 36-22, converting this to a 51-30 advantage in scores from clearances.  They also won the contested possessions (137-124) and had 16 marks inside 50 to Essendon’s 50.

5. Jason Johannisen’s four goals was a career high.  He also had eight score involvements, two goal assists and 15 pressure acts.
