Jordan Roughead is set to miss two months of football after dislocating his AC joint against Richmond on Saturday.

Medical Services Manager Andrew McKenzie said the injury was disappointing for the defender, who is scheduled for surgery tonight.

“Jordan dislocated his AC Joint [which is] very unfortunate for him,” McKenzie said.

“He is going to have to have that operated on tonight and following the surgery we will get a better update from the surgeon.

“We expect it will be about eight weeks at this stage.”

Promising midfielder Josh Prudden also sustained an knee injury while playing in the VFL, however McKenzie said the prognosis was not as bad as initially thought.

“Josh had an unfortunate incident to his knee, it’s not as bad as first feared,” he said.

“There is a low grade injury to his MCL and some bone bruising – it should settle down but he will miss four weeks.”

Koby Stevens will be available to play in Saturday’s clash against GWS Giants, after being a late withdrawal in last weekend’s game against Richmond.

“Koby did train in our last session but he wasn’t quite right, so he couldn’t play the game,” he said.

“He should be [back to] full training this week and he will be available to play.”
