Footscray have returned to the winners list, emphatic 103-point victory over the Northern Blues at Victoria University.

After leading by 17-points at the first change, an eight-goal to one second term with the wind helped stretch the margin to 59-points at the main break and set-up the runaway win.

Will Hayes finished with four goals for the victorious home side – including two in the final quarter, while Nathan Hrovat and Lachie Hunter both finished with three majors.

Shane Biggs was again prolific and creative across half-back, amassing a team-high 28-disposals, while Hunter, Jordan Russell, Brent Prismall both gathered 25-disposals.
