In a major off-field coup for the Club, the Western Bulldogs and Mission Foods have today announced a three-year extension to their partnership which will see Mission Foods remain as the club’s major partner until at least the end of the 2020 season.

The record multi-million dollar deal will take the partnership to 12 years, the first time in the Club’s history that the relationship with a major partner has exceeded a decade.

Western Bulldogs President Peter Gordon who recently flew to Mexico to help finalise the new agreement, said the extension was a great outcome for both Mission Foods and the Club.

“Mission Foods joined our family back in 2009, when they launched their brand into the Australian market, and in the time since we’ve gone on an exciting and ultimately rewarding journey together,” Gordon said.

“We are grateful for the loyalty that Mission have shown us.

“This new agreement, which extends our partnership until the end of the 2020 season, breaks new ground for the Club and provides us with an opportunity to build into an organisation we would not have thought possible only a few years ago.”

Juan Gonzalez, President and Chairman and CEO of Mission Food, said he is excited to extend the relationship into its 12th year.

“On evaluating our 9 year partnership, we felt the synergies and alignment between Mission Foods and the Western Bulldogs was still there and the relationship was stronger than ever,” Gonzalez said.

Our loyalty as a partner is something we are very proud of and we are thrilled to be continuing as Major Partner for another 3 years until 2020.”
