It’ll be an historic day of football for Bulldogs fans this Friday with the Club playing both an AFL and VFL match on Good Friday for the first time.

Footscray will open the VFL season at 12pm against the Box Hill Hawks at Victoria University Whitten Oval, before attention turns to Etihad Stadium where the AFL side will be searching for their third win of 2017 when they take on North Melbourne from 4:20pm.

Footscray’s successful 2016 season will be honoured with the unfurling of the premiership flag at 11:40am, while five dollars from every ticket sold during  the AFL fixture will go directly to the Good Friday Appeal.
