Jack Redpath will miss the next three games after the Club’s appeal to have his two match sanction thrown out failed.

Redpath was offered two matches with an early plea after being charged with striking the Giants’ Phil Davis during Friday night’s match against GWS.  The Bulldogs’ challenge means the Club will need to play at least two finals games for Redpath to play again in 2017.

The MRP’s original finding, based on the available video evidence and a medical report from the GWS Giants Football Club, the incident was assessed as intentional contact with low impact to the head.

Due to Redpath’s previous record, his two-match sanction was increased by one further game to three matches.
