Australia’s biggest men’s health program is back for 2018.

With a new-look program which has seen the Premiership Season moved forward to March, Sons of the West is looking to be bigger and better in its fifth year,

Now in nine local government areas and sixteen sites across Victoria’s west, the Premiership Season kicked off on Monday March 12 in Ballarat.

This year, participants can expect to reach their own mental, physical and social health goals, while receiving constant support from key health and wellbeing professionals.

Sons of the West participants can expect to receive offers from stores such as Footlocker, Williams and Subway, for their participation in the program.

Western Bulldogs Community Foundation partner, Watergardens have continued their support of the program for a second straight year.

Western Bulldogs Community Foundation General Manager, Kashif Bouns said the Foundation are incredibly grateful for the support received from their key partners.

“Watergardens have been a great support to us over the past two years,” he said.

“Working together with like-minded organisations, including Watergardens, has allowed Sons of the West to reach a larger demographic of men.”

“This support also encouraged our growth into the women’s health space, with the creation of Daughters of the West last year,” said Bouns.

“We look forward to building upon our already strong relationship and witnessing what we can both achieve in 2018 and beyond.”
