The Western Bulldogs will tomorrow launch their first ever podcast, Freedom in a Cage, hosted by former captain Bob Murphy, and the award winning filmmaker responsible for the Outsiders documentary, Adrian Brown.

Available on westernbulldogs.com.au, iTunes and audioboom every Thursday, the boys promise a caravan park vibe where talk of hard-ball gets and kicking efficiency will be frowned upon, and where the nuances and eccentricities of the game and it’s people are celebrated.

The boys promise the biggest guests in the game and beyond, and have delivered early with Western Bulldogs senior coach Luke Beveridge stopping by to talk all things GWS and his place on the Greek Team of the Century, and AFLW hard-nut Libby Birch talks through Tarantino-style wounds, bad language and winning a ‘preliminary final’ with 90 seconds to play.

There’s also a chance for the fans to get involved, and each week Bob and Adi will answer your questions about.. anything. Who’s the NBA equivalent of the Bulldogs?  Who is the best bearded singer in the world today? Can you have cold BBQ sausages the day after?

You ask, we’ll answer. Just use the hashtag #freedominacage and let the boys settle your bets.
