The Western Bulldogs have made three changes to their side for Sunday’s Round 3 match against Essendon at Etihad Stadium.

Jack Redpath, Tory Dickson and Mitch Wallis have been named to play their first senior matches of the 2018 season.

Dickson and Wallis return to the side after impressive performances for Footscray in a VFL practice match against Essendon last Saturday, where Dickson kicked four first-half goals and Wallis gathered 29 disposals to go with four goals, while Redpath returns after serving his AFL suspension.

Defender Jackson Trengove (scapula) and ruckman Jordan Roughead (concussion) are unavailable, while Lukas Webb has been omitted.

Sunday’s match will mark the 24th time that the Bulldogs and Essendon have played for the EJ Whitten Cup.

The Bulldogs and Bombers will go head-to-head from 3.20pm at Etihad Stadium.
