After playing the past two AFLW seasons with the Western Bulldogs, midfielder Emma Kearney has advised the Club of her intention to join North Melbourne as part of the expanding AFLW competition for season 2019.

“While we are disappointed Emma has made the decision to leave us after being a founding member of our AFLW team, we also understand the expanding landscape of the competition,” said Bulldogs’ General Manager of Women’s Football, Debbie Lee.

“Emma had a great year with us in 2018, which included being a member of our premiership, and winning our club and league best and fairest awards.

“We have successfully built a very strong environment and culture at the Bulldogs, which culminated in the 2018 premiership, and we are looking forward to continuing to develop and assist our players achieve further success in the future.

“We wish Emma all the best with her move, and we thank her for her efforts during her time with us.”
