The Western Bulldogs are yet to defeat Port Adelaide in Ballarat, with a dominant second half earning the Power a 44-point win on Sunday afternoon at Mars Stadium.

After an even first half in cold, wet and windy conditions, Port booted seven goals to one to inflict the decimated Bulldogs with their fourth straight loss.

Charlie Dixon was the match-winner for the Power, kicking five goals for the afternoon – four of those coming in the second half.

Jackson Trengove played his best game in Bulldogs colours, collecting 22 disposals, winning 10 clearances and 28 hitouts, and kicking two goals.

Jack Macrae accumulated 36 disposals to go with 12 clearances, while 21 of Lachie Hunter’s 35 possessions came in the last two quarters.

Josh Dunkley continued his rich vein of form, finishing with 27 disposals and team highs for tackles (12) and inside 50s (six).

Fergus Greene – the 38th player to be used by the Bulldogs this season - kicked the first goal of his career in the second quarter.
