It's taking the world by storm and smashing box offices records, so we thought it's only right we jump on the 'Avengers' hype train.

westernbulldogs.com.au has put together a list of Bulldogs and their Avenger counterparts. Find out which players best resemble their crime fighting double.

Captain America: Easton Wood

As leader of the Western Bulldogs, Easton Wood and Captain America share more than a couple of traits. Wood is quick, strong, has razor- sharp reflexes and has the ability to do things mere mortals cannot.  Remember Round 1, 2016 against Fremantle? What about the ’16 Preliminary Final?

There is also the tactician and leadership side to Easton that Captain America displays in the Marvel Universe. Like Steve Rogers, Wood is the field commander and chief of his army – showcasing week after week how to lead a group of soldiers through the heat of battle.

Thor: Dale Morris

Moz could’ve been a number of the Avengers, but we thought Thor best suits our defensive strong man. While he hasn’t been around for nearly 1,500 years like Thor, Dale Morris does have experience on his side – he’s already racked up 241 games over 15 years. So far…

High pain tolerance is something both Thor & Dale Morris are known for, with an ability to bounce back from enemy attacks. Not even a broken leg & arm could derail Moz’s 2017 season – and that’s after playing with a broken back throughout the 2016 finals series.

There’s also the strength, with very few within the Bulldog army stronger than our version of Thor.

-

Vision: Marcus Bontempelli

Like Vision, Marcus Bontempelli can be described as “every inch of a human being”. For his 193cm frame, Bonti’s agility is almost super human, able to slice through traffic with ease and make the game slow down.

Bonti can also shape shift from a midfielder to a forward, and that versatility in the heat of battle makes one of the Dogs’ most dangerous weapons.

Whether he is kicking goals or damaging his opponent throughout the midfield, Marcus is able to give off energy like Vision and provide the power needed to show super human strength.

Spider Man: Caleb Daniel

Caleb’s role in the Bulldogs line up is best reflective of Spider Man’s in the Avengers. Evasive & crafty with the ball, Daniel has sixth sense in the midfield – with the ability to hit targets and find teammates in the toughest of spots.

When he’s not slinging the ball around in the midfield, Daniel is showing off the sort of fun side that everyone loves about Spider Man. His reaction on Instagram to the broken helmet that took the football world by storm is one of many examples of his humour & wit.

all has been revealed i guess

Hulk: Marcus Adams

It’s see ball, get ball for Marcus Adams and he won’t let anyone stand in his way. Known for his brute strength, there are very few in the AFL, not just Western Bulldogs who are as physically strong as the man they call “The Specimen”.

He moves mountains in the gym and while we yet to see this on display for an extended period of time, it won’t be too long before we can unleash our Hulk on opponents again.
