Four Bulldogs have polled votes in Saturday’s stunning four-point victory over the Swans, with Marcus Bontempelli sharing top billing with Sydney midfielder Luke Parker.

Both Parker and Bontempelli received eight votes each from senior coaches Luke Beveridge and John Longmire in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award.

While the coaches couldn’t separate the performance of the pair on field, the eight votes each also ensures that both midfielders can’t be separated on the overall award leaderboard.

Parker and Bontempelli sit equal seventh on the leaderboard, 18 votes behind leader Rory Sloane (67 votes).

Bontempelli finished Saturday’s match with 29 disposals and eight tackles, but was highlighted by his 13 disposal and one goal third term which helped spearhead the Bulldogs’ charge and 6-2 goal quarter

Matthew Boyd, Lachie Hunter and Tom Liberatore also polled votes for their impact on the contest.
