While it’s been over six weeks since the Bulldogs’ AFL Grand Final triumph, the win still hasn’t sunk in for Bulldogs defender Dale Morris.

Speaking to Channel Seven after the Club’s announcement of a five-year apparel partnership with ASICS, Morris said the Club’s premiership win still doesn’t seem real.

“It hasn’t sunk in, I’m not sure when it will,” Morris said.

“It still feels a bit surreal.”

Morris added that he’s only watch the game back once, and that he feels there won’t be any complacency when he and teammates return for preseason training at the end of this month.

“It’s been a longtime between premierships, and yes we were able to win one, but we’re not satisfied [at stopping there].”

As a result of the flag win, the Bulldogs’ 2017 home guernsey will be adorned with the AFL premiers gold logo, with Morris giving the new ASICS garment the tick of approval.

“We’ve gone back to the ‘true’ Bulldog blue…I like it, it’s a good look.”
