Four votes from the coaches in Friday night’s match against the Cats has seen Marcus Bontempelli move into the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year top-four.

The 20-year-old midfielder was one of three Bulldogs to poll votes from coaches Luke Beveridge and Chris Scott.

Bontempelli collected 23 disposals along with four clearances, six tackles and four inside 50m and two goal assists in an influential midfielder performance

Liam Picken and Luke Dahlhaus polled one vote each, both collecting 26 disposals playing through the midfield and across half-forward.
