Easton Wood’s first quarter hanger in Sunday afternoon’s 32-point win over Melbourne has earned him a round eight Woolworths AFL Mark of the Year nomination.

This is the explosive All Australian half back earned his second mark of the year nomination, following an earlier nomination in round one.

With Melbourne launching a long ball from the kick-in after a Bulldogs behind, Wood launched himself over Melbourne's Cam Pederson and teammate Liam Picken to take the grab at full stretch.

Also nominated in the round seven award were North Melbourne's Mason Wood and Gold Coast's Tom Lynch.
