Footscray will play with a near-unchanged line up when they face Essendon for the second time in four weeks.

VFL-listed players Tom Sharp, David Iaccarino, Jordan Keras, Meyrick Buchanan, Alex Greenwood and Mitch Hannan come into the extended squad, which will be refined was the travelling party to Perth of Sunday’s AFL fixture is confirmed.

Senior defenders Fletcher Roberts and Jordan Roughead remain in the side as they continue their return from injury.

The Dogs will be without Roarke Smith, who will make his AFL debut in the senior side against West Coast on Sunday.

The last time the two sides met, Footscray prevailed by 22-points at Victoria University Whitten Oval. On that occasion Lin Jong, Jordan Kelly and Sam Darley were amongst Footscray’s best, while Tom Boyd booted a game-high three goals.
