It’s five more sleeps until Saturday’s Elimination Final the MCG against the Crows, and the Club is a hype of activity.  What’s been happening, find out below.

Media

The Bulldogs’ Media Team hosted press conference with four players at VU Whitten Oval. Luke Dahlhaus, Mitch Wallis, Jack Redpath and Jack Macrae all took their turns in fronting the media.

The discussed a range of topics, from the loss to the Lions, Saturday’s opponents in the Crows, and the feeling around the Club as they prepare fortheir first finals series since 2010.

As discussed in all the morning press conferences, only eight players on the Bulldogs’ current list have played in an AFL Finals, with all four of the players that spoke eagerly awaiting their first crack at September action.

Dahlhaus is also scheduled  to speak to 3AW’s Sports Today program at 6:25pm (AEST) in the evening to look forward to his first AFL Finals appearance, while President Peter Gordon will appear live on Channel Seven's Talking Footy from 7:30pm (AEST) on 7Mate.



Football

After flying home from Brisbane on Saturday evening, and commencing recovery on Sunday, the playing group-continued to recoup from the weekend’s match at the Kennel on Monday.

The players arrived at the Club for their usual Monday routines, including medical treatments and massages, along with a weights and skills session.

The team also took a moment to take in all the fan messages of support that have been shared through Instagram and Twitter, and have been displayed on the TV screens around the Club.



Coaches met to review the weekend’s performance against the Lions, before running through the review with the playing group and then meeting again to cast their eyes forward to the Crows on Saturday.

 

 

Membership

The membership team was hard at work early at VU Whitten Oval on Monday morning, with finals ticketing going on-sale at 9:00am. A host of diehard members camped out at the Kennel overnight to gettheir hands on Elimination Finals tickets first, with close to 1000 individual members making their way through the doors at Whitten Oval.

Ticket sales opened to the general public in the afternoon, with the flow of red, white and blue faithful continuing to stream through the doors to secure their seats.

Ticket sales for Saturday’s Elimination Final will continue on Tuesday at VU Whitten Oval between 9:00am and 5:00pm for Bulldogs Members, General Public and AFL Members.

 

Fan Development

With a bumper open training session planned, and a host of match day activities being finalized, it was a busy day of preparations.
