The AFL Fantasy finals are officially upon us, as dream team coaches look for the edge to take their side to glory and a number of Western Bulldogs players can provide just that.

Ryan Griffen looms as an excellent point of difference when looking to upgrade your midfield stocks, with just 11% of dream team coaches recruiting him in their team.

The 27-year-old is ranked 13th in the competition for total points, amassing an impressive 133 in round 19 (the sixth highest score for the round).

Clearance machine Tom Liberatore ($493,500) recently joined Griffen in the top 20 dream team players this season, averaging 119.3 points in the past three rounds, yet only 3.13% of AFL Fantasy coaches have included him in their sides.

If you are looking to bolster your ruck stocks, few can go past Will Minson who has established himself as one of the best tap ruckmen in the game this season.

Ranked second among the AFL’s ruck stocks in regards to dream team potential, the Bulldogs big man again provides a point of difference with only 5.59% of AFL fantasy coaches employing him in their side.

Pending team selection tomorrow, Matthew Boyd also firms as a tantalising prospect in the midfield, after being considered dream team royalty in seasons past.

Owned by just 2.06% of all dream team coaches, the Bulldogs captain averages over 104 points and has not dipped below 90 points in his past six games played.

Jarrad Grant (owned by just 0.43%) and Mitch Wallis (0.24%) could also be worth inclusion, finding form at the business end of the season – especially if looking to upgrade without much spare cash in the bank.

Wallis’ three round average is 83.7, after accounting for Sydney’s Josh Kennedy on the weekend and finding plenty of his own ball.

Proving an exciting addition to the forward line, Grant has also racked up some reasonable dream team scores, including 92 points against Sydney.
