Four players could pull on Western Bulldogs colours for the first time during the first NAB Challenge clash against St Kilda, to be held at Simonds Stadium on Wednesday night.

Stewart Crameri has been named as part of a 29-man extended squad to make his debut in Bulldogs colours, while former GWS Giant Sam Darley and draftees Mitch Honeychurch and Matt Fuller are also in the mix.

The Bulldogs have selected a largely inexperienced side to take on the Saints in the first competitive hitout for the season, with the group averaging less than 50 games per player.

Naming 13 players with less than 15 games experience and another seven yet to reach 50 games, the Club will be relying on its young talent to step up and be accountable.

Lin Jong, Daniel Pearce and Fletcher Roberts could also feature in the Bulldogs NAB Challenge side, after plying their trade solely in the VFL last season.

Captain Ryan Griffen is the most notable player to spend Wednesday night on the sidelines, as the Club’s medical staff take a conservative approach after the Bulldogs complained of back tightness last fortnight.
