Three changes have been made to Western Bulldogs’ side that defeated Melbourne last weekend, with Captain Ryan Griffen, Jordan Roughead and Jack Redpath all coming in to face Geelong on Sunday.

At 194 centimetres and 100 kilograms, Redpath brings a strong, physical presence to the Bulldogs forward six, debuting for the Club after three seasons on the rookie list.

The 23-year-old lined-up in Bulldogs’ NAB Challenge fixture at Simonds Stadium earlier this year as a defender, but will line-up for his first home and aways season match at the other end of the ground.

Bulldogs skipper Griffen will be a welcome  addition through the middle against an experienced Geelong midfield, after spending last week on the sidelines with a back spasm.

The 27-year-old’s elite two way running and outside class will ease the pressure on young midfielders Jack Macrae and Tom Liberatore, and provide another hardened body around stoppages.

In the last line of defence, Jordan Roughead will return to a tough task, with a likely matchup on Tom Hawkins.

Proving his fitness in yesterday’s main training session after missing last week due to a shoulder complaint, his composure and size will add another dimension to the Bulldogs back six.

Sam Darley (omitted), Liam Jones (omitted) and Fletcher Roberts (omitted) have come out of the side that defeated Melbourne last Sunday.

Roberts has been listed as an emergency alongside Jason Tutt and Tom Campbell.
