The Bulldogs made two changes to the side set to face North Melbourne on Sunday, with Jason Johannisen and Daniel Giansiracusa named in the final team.

While Johannisen returns to the side after being a late withdrawal against St Kilda last week, veteran forward Giansiracusa is poised to play his first senior game since round 14.

The pair come into the side to replace Easton Wood (hand) and Nathan Hrovat (ankle) who have been ruled out through injury.

Johannisen is set to bolster the Bulldogs defence, with his run and creativity from defence.

The 21-year-old has played eight senior games this season in his fourth year on the Bulldogs list and has benefited from a stint in the VFL, spending time up forward to add to his versatility.

He is joined by Giansiracusa as the inclusions against North Melbourne with the dependable medium forward to add value and experience to the Bulldogs side in attack.

Averaging one goal and almost one goal assist from his 12 games this season, the veteran will be looking to provide support to the Bulldogs developing forward contingent.

The Bulldogs take on North Melbourne on Sunday 17 August 2014 from 1:10pm at Etihad Stadium in Captain Ryan Griffen’s 200th career game.
