West Coast has made four changes due to injury headlined by Brownlow Medallist Matt Priddis and skipper Shannon Hurn. The pair will also be joined on the sidelines by Will Schofield and Josh Hill for the clash against the Dogs. The Eagles have recalled four players into the squad including Sam Butler and Sharrod Wellingham alongside midfielders Chris Masten and Jack Redden.

In defence the Eagles feature swingman Jeremy McGovern whose ability to intercept is seen to be a weapon for the back six. McGovern is particularly strong in the air and may split his time at both ends of the ground in the absence of Josh Kennedy.

Fellow defender Tom Barrass is also an aerial threat with his willingness to zone off and intercept the ball making him one to watch. Brad Sheppard can play on either talls or smalls, although his role may be dependent on which end McGovern is deployed at.

In the midfield Luke Shuey is a threat with his speed and ability to spread from the contest seen as important. Shuey is a dynamic mid that is equally as comfortable pushing forward as he is in close at stoppages. Sam Mitchell will provide the inside support and leadership around the contest with his clearance work still a standout.

Andrew Gaff is a hard-running wingman that is often a key link in their ball movement, particularly with his long left foot driving them into attack on many occasions.

Elliot Yeo may split his time across half back and through the middle, which has often been the case throughout the season. Yeo is strong overhead with his intercept marking and ability to navigate through heavy traffic making him a real key.

In the forward line Jack Darling will be a focal point with his strong hands and athleticism seen to be important.  Darling may play closer to goal than usual as he usually likes to work up the ground and utilise his endurance.

Small forward Jamie Cripps provides pressure at ground level and cannot be afforded space inside 50. Alongside Cripps will be Dom Sheed who may split his time between the high half forward and on ball roles and has been in good recent form.
