Veteran defender Dale Morris and midfielder Tom Liberatore are among eight inclusions in the Western Bulldogs’ extended squad for Sunday’s clash with Melbourne at Etihad Stadium.

Morris returns after missing last week’s match with an ankle injury, while Liberatore has been absent from the senior team since the Round 8 loss to West Coast.

Midfielders Lukas Webb and Mitch Honeychurch are also in the 25-man squad, along with talls Tom Boyd, Tom Campbell and Zaine Cordy.

The Bulldogs made two forced changes through injury, with Marcus Adams (foot) and Travis Cloke (soreness) unavailable.

Defenders Matthew Boyd and Fletcher Roberts, and young ruckman Tim English, have been omitted.

The Bulldogs and Demons are locked on six wins apiece after 12 rounds, and a win for either side will keep them in touch with the top four.

Melbourne has won three of its last four games, including last week’s morale-boosting victory over Collingwood, while the Bulldogs have lost three of their last four matches.

The Dogs have triumphed in five of the last six contests against the Demons, and have scored five straight wins against the same opponent at Etihad Stadium.
