Eleven Bulldogs players and nine GWS Giants players have been offered fines from the AFL’s Match Review Panel for engaging in a melee during Sunday’s match at Etihad Stadium.

The incident occurred after the siren at three-quarter time  during the round 23 hitout between the two sides.

Liam Picken, Jason Johannisen, Tom Young, Robert Murphy, Jake Stringer, Jack Macrae, Daniel Giansiracusa, Tom Liberatore, Nathan Hrovat and Koby Stevens were offered with a first offence, and a $1600 sanction each – reduced to $1200 with an early plea.

Will Minson, however, was charged with a second offence for engaging in a melee which is a $2800 sanction, that can be reduced to $2100 with an early plea.

Toby Greene, Dylan Shiel, Rhys Palmer, Devon Smith, Nathan Wilson, Matt Buntine, Lachie Plowman, Will Hoskin-Elliott and Shane Mumford were the GWS Giants players involved.

Each of the Giants players have also been offered a first offence for engaging in a melee with the same penalty.
