Western Bulldogs veteran defender Dale Morris could return for the Dogs against Brisbane this weekend, following his recovery from a pectoral injury suffered in round three.

Bulldogs General Manager of Football Graham Lowe said Morris had progressed back into full training and would be available for selection.

“Dale obviously had a significant injury in terms of his pectoral tear against Hawthorn in round three.

“He’s progressed really well through his rehab and off the back of a bye, it’s great to welcome him back to full training.

“He’s put a lot of work in and it’s really pleasing to have him back as an option for us for selection this week.”

Matt Fuller and Jordan Kelly will both be available for selection this weekend, after they recovered from their injury setbacks.

“Matt’s recovered well from a facial injury he received a couple of weeks ago, it’s great to have him back into full training, he’s looking to make himself available for selection this week.

“Jordan’s progressed really well through his rehab from his hand and it’s great to have him back in full training and he’s putting himself in a position for selection this week.”

Marcus Bontempelli and Liam Picken will both undergo tests after they missed the Dogs’ round 11 clash with Port Adelaide, with Lowe confident the pair would be available for selection.

“Marcus was subbed with his low grade adductor strain, it’s again really pleasing to see him back in the mix.

“He’s certainly progressing well, there’s some things he needs to work through this week but we’re certainly expecting him to be available for selection.

“Liam Picken had a low grade hamstring injury and it was important that we made sure that settled down which we’ve done and the bye week has contributed to that opportunity.

“He’s trained and progressed really well, we need him to work through the rest of training this week to present himself for selection but we expect him to be available to play.”
