Footscray has been strengthened ahead of Sunday's elimination final against Essendon, with up to five AFL-listed Bulldogs set to return for the do-or-die clash.

Bailey Williams, Matthew Boyd, Lewis Young, Tom Campbell and Patrick Lipinski all return for the 'Scray, as they look to keep their season alive.

Footscray finished the home and away season in 7th place on the VFL ladder after losing their final two games on the season, including a five point epic at Windy Hill in Round 18.

Sunday’s winner will advance to play either Box Hill or Port Melbourne in a Semi Final, while it’ll be season over for the loser.

For the first time, pre-sale tickets will be available for all lead-up finals matches, to help fans avoid any possible queues on game-day.

All lead-up finals will be at 2016 prices, with adults $15, concession/pensioners $10 and kids under 15 free and will be on-sale 10am each Monday at vfl.com.au/presale.

Tickets can also be bought on the gate on game day, with availability subject to venue capacity.
