The Western Bulldogs will renew their rivalry with Greater Western Sydney when the two sides square off in the season opener it’s been announced.

The Dogs will travel to Canberra on Sunday, March 25 for the opening round of the 2018 AFL season, keen to reverse the result of their last trip to Manuka Oval where they fell by just two points in a thrilling Round 6 encounter last season.

The two sides have built an intense rivalry in recent years, with the Dogs winning two of the past five matches, including 2016 preliminary final.
