Seven Bulldogs players earned votes from senior coaches Luke Beveridge and Brad Scott from Saturday night’s win over North Melbourne.
Defender Matthew Boyd polled top votes from the coaches (8 votes) for his 22 disposal game off half-back, taking him to a season total of 26 votes in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award.
Boyd is the fifth ranked Bulldog in the award leaderboard, behind Marcus Bontempelli, Lachie Hunter, Tom Liberatore and Luke Dahlhaus.
Bontempelli’s five votes from Saturday night’s win sees him maintains his fourth place on the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year leaderboard, six votes behind Richmond’s Dustin Martin in third place.
Geelong’s Patrick Dangerfield leads the competition ahead of Adelaide’s Rory Sloane.
Fletcher Roberts and Tory Dickson earned their first coaches votes for the season in the win, while Easton Wood, Luke Dahlhaus and Jason Johannisen also polled votes.
