For the third successive week the Western Bulldogs have received a nomination for both AFL goal and mark of the year awards.

After their round seven efforts, Robert Murphy and Liam Jones team-lifting efforts during the thrid quarter of last Saturday night's clash against the North Melbourne have earned them weekly nominations for the respective AFL weekly awards.

Jones' high-flying chest mark over a pack on centre-wing is one of three nominated for the weekly Lifebroker AFL Mark of the Year award, while Murphy's incredible goal on the run - after turning his opponent inside out and taking a bounce - features as one of the trio of contenders for the British Paints AFL Goal of the Year award for round five.
