Josh Prudden is set to line up for the Footscray Bulldogs for the first time since the season opener when they take on Collingwood’s VFL affiliate on Sunday at Victoria Park.

The Bulldogs midfielder has been restricted to the sidelines through injury but will be welcome addition to the Footscray side with his inside grunt and clean hands.

Sunday’s Footscray lineup will also blood a debutant with Sandringham Dragons recruit Will Hayes set to play his first game in Bulldogs colours.

Footscray have won their past four outings and will be looking to add a fifth against a fifth placed Collingwood this weekend.

The Pies have been unable to claim any scalps higher than them on the ladder so far this season with the third placed Bulldogs their next attempt to do so.

While Footscray (third) are coming off an upset 14 point victory against the second placed Port Melbourne on their home deck.

The Footscray Bulldogs will tee off against Collingwood at 2pm on Sunday at Victoria Park.
