Pink Celebrations - Cancer Council Tasmania

Supporters are encouraged to ‘wear a splash of pink’ to this Sunday’s game at Aurora Stadium.

By wearing pink, you will be showing your support for Cancer Council Tasmania (CCT) along with all those affected by breast and women’s cancers. On average 8 Tasmanians are diagnosed with Cancer every day, making the work of CCT vital to the health of the community CCT is 90% funded by the Tasmanian community so they rely heavily on donations from the public, please give generously to volunteers stationed around the ground rattling tins as you arrive at the ground.

If you feel you’re lacking pink on the day, make sure you visit our free ‘Get Pinked’ zones located at Gates 2, 3, 7 and 10.

To get your hands on more pink items, please visit the official Cancer Council Tasmania stall on the concourse for all CCT branded items. All funds generated from the sale of these items will directly support Tasmanians in the fight against Cancer.

The highlight of the day is the pink guard of honour formed by 100 members of the Tasmanian community who have been affected in some form by breast or women’s cancers. It’s a fantastic spectacle that will be enhanced this year with the match day banner being coloured pink.
