The Western Bulldogs have finalised their AFLW playing list for 2017, with the addition of three free agency players Rebecca Neaves, Meg McDonald and Angelica Gogos

Neaves is a 20-year-old midfielder from the St Kilda Sharks, who was nominated for the 2016 VFL Women’s Rising Star award.

McDonald joins the Club from the Darebin Falcons and is a key forward/defender. The 25-year-old was part of Darebin’s 2016 premiership side.

Gogos spent time with Melbourne University before spending the past two years away from football. The 27-year-old is a hard, inside midfielder.

The Bulldogs have now completed their list of 27 for the inaugural AFLW season, with the team commencing pre-season training on 22 November.

Bulldogs women’s coach Paul Groves has also finalised his coaching structure, with four assistants to help guide the side in 2017.

Former Melbourne University coach Michael Sandry joins the Club as list manager/senior assistant coach. Sandry has also coached the Bulldogs in a previous exhibition match.

Former Essendon player and reigning Deer Park premiership coach Marc Bullen will take charge of the backline, while Cam Roberts, current University Blacks senior coach will oversee the forward line.

Nathan Brown, 146-game player for the Melbuorne Football Club, will take control of the midfield, rounding out the coaching group.
