Bob Murphy named to play in JLT Community Series opener

Bulldogs captain Bob Murphy has been named to play in Saturday's JLT Community Series clash against Melbourne.

Captain Bob Murphy is set to play his first game after extended period on the sidelines due to injury.

Murphy was named as part of the Bulldogs' 29-man JLT Community Series squad to take on Melbourne at Victoria University Whitten Oval on Saturday afternoon.

Stewart Crameri will also return to the field after is extended layoff, while off-season recruit Travis Cloke and top draft pick Tim English has also been included in the side.

16 of the Bulldogs' 2016 premiership side have been named in the squad.
