Western Bulldogs defender Aaron Naughton has been nominated for the Woolworths Mark of the Year for Round Two.

The first-year Dog flew from the side to take a big grab over the Eagles’ Jake Waterman and teammate Jackson Trengove late in the 2nd quarter of Sunday’s match at Etihad Stadium.

Naughton, taken at pick #9 in last year’s AFL National Draft, was playing just his second senior game for the Bulldogs.

The 2018 Woolworths Mark of the Year award winner will be announced at the 2018 Brownlow Medal Count. The player that wins the 2018 Woolworths Mark of the Year will receive $10,000.
