WHAT CAME IN?
The Dogs landed two experienced players from other clubs in the trade period, with proven goalkicker Sam Lloyd crossing from Richmond and two-time premiership Hawk Taylor Duryea landing at VU Whitten Oval the day before the deadline.
The Club also secured a second-round compensation pick (27) from the AFL after losing free agent Luke Dahlhaus, a 2018 second round pick (32) and future third rounder from Brisbane as part of the transaction for losing Marcus Adams, and a fourth-round pick (75) from Collingwood in the trade for Jordan Roughead.

WHAT WENT OUT?
The acquisition of Lloyd and Duryea didn’t cost the Club much, with a fourth-round draft pick (64) going to the Tigers for Lloyd, and a future fourth-rounder crossing to the Hawks for Duryea.
Luke Dahlhaus used his free agency status to get to Geelong, Jordan Roughead was traded to Collingwood, and the Bulldogs granted the wish of Marcus Adams to land at Brisbane on the final day of the Trade Period.

WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?
The Bulldogs have brought in five players from other clubs over the last two years, with Lloyd and Duryea hoping to follow the success of last year’s trade period, which yielded Jackson Trengove, Hayden Crozier and Josh Schache, who all had an impact in 2018.
The Club also entered this player movement period without a second-round pick in the Draft, and it now has two, as well as scoring a bonus third rounder for 2019.
After missing out in the race for Chad Wingard, the Bulldogs kept hold of its prized first round pick, where one of the ‘super seven’ awaits on next month.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
In a change to previous years, Clubs are still able to trade draft picks right up to the NAB AFL Draft, and during the event itself.
Also in a first for the AFL, The Draft will be held over two days, with the first round telecast on Fox Footy during the evening of November 22, and the remaining rounds slated for the following day.

WHAT’S OUR DRAFT POSITION?
The Bulldogs currently hold draft selections 7, 27, 32, 45, 63, 75 and 82 for the 2018 NAB AFL Draft.
