The Western Bulldogs boosted their 2025 draft hand in a pick swap with the Greater Western Sydney Giants on Monday morning.
The Dogs exchanged this year’s pick 12 and received picks 14 and 37 from the Giants.
The Bulldogs now have two second-round selections (33, 37), allowing for a greater level of flexibility across the final days of the Continental Tyres Trade Period.
“We’re always really open to strengthening our draft hand in any given season and acquiring another second-round selection allows for flexibility for trading in players or bringing in elite talent through the draft,” Bulldogs Player Acquisition & Strategy Manager Michael Regan said.
“With three days remaining in the period, it is important to remain adaptable and agile to different opportunities, this draft hand allows the Club to do that.”
The AFL’s Continental Tyres Trade Period will conclude on Wednesday night, with the first round of the National Draft taking place on November 21.
