QR code check-in required at Victorian stadiums in Round 2

THE AFL has advised, as per Victorian Government guidelines, fans attending matches in Victoria this weekend will need to check-in using a QR code.

QR codes will be provided for fans at various points within the stadium – including at their designated entry gate and ticketed venue zone – the check-in can be completed by fans on their way to or at their seat. Additional venue staff have been deployed to assist patrons.

The introduction of QR codes at matches are part of the guidelines required by the Victorian Government on the increased 75 per cent capacity, with the QR coding process assisting the government with contact tracing if required.

To not miss a moment of action, fans are encouraged to:

  1. Download your mobile ticket before you arrive at the venue
  2. Forward tickets to the individuals attending within your group
  3. Download the Services Victoria App via the iTunes or Android store.
  4. Arrive early and enter via the Gate noted on your ticket
  5. Once inside the venue, scan the QR Code and check-in on the way to your seat or at your seat

Unlike previous seasons, AFL matches in 2021 will be fully ticketed and fully digital. To access the stadium, you will need to use the digital ticket issued to you by Ticketmaster.

There will be no walk-up match day ticket sales. All tickets must be pre-purchased via Ticketmaster.

MARVEL STADIUM COVID-SAFE PLAN
Marvel Stadium has implemented a thorough and exhaustive COVIDSafe plan ahead of the return of fans to the stands at the venue. Marvel Stadium’s absolute priority is the safety and wellbeing of patrons, and it has implemented a number of increased safety measures including reduced group sizes, social distancing and increased hygiene practices, to bolster its already strict operational procedures.

Ahead of your return to Marvel Stadium, your match-day experience will look a little different. Here are a couple of key changes ahead of Sunday’s match:

  • Redeem or purchase your ticket before arriving at the stadium and have it ready on your mobile phone. There will be no walk-up ticket sales at the gate.
  • Enter at your designated time and gate on your ticket.
  • If you need to bring a bag, it must be no larger than A4 in size. There is no cloaking.
  • Proceed directly to your seat.
  • Once in your seat, the only three reasons to leave it are to: Use amenities, purchase food and beverage, or leave the Stadium.

MEMBER ACCESS & MATCH TICKETING

Western Bulldogs home members with Marvel Stadium access will be eligible to redeem a ticket to Sunday’s home opener against West Coast at Marvel Stadium in three priority windows.

MEMBERS ONLY | Redeem your match tickets via Ticketmaster here.

There will be no guest passes available - a member barcode will be required for every ticket sort to be redeemed.

The on-sale windows for each respective membership category are expected to have minimal impact on the subsequent windows.  Seats will be withheld to ensure tickets are available for each priority window. The Priority 1 window is reserved for Gold Members (Level 2 seating), Priority 2 for Silver Members and Priority 3 for Bronze, Ballarat, Interstate and Country members.

Western Bulldogs home access members will have until 9am, Wednesday 24 March to redeem their ticket.

After the home club member on-sale, remaining tickets will be opened to away club members for purchase from 10am-12pm on Wednesday 23 March. Remaining tickets after the away club on-sale will then be made available to the general public from 1pm on Wednesday 23 March. For Western Bulldogs access members yet to redeem a ticket, this will be a secondary opportunity to access tickets.
