Jackson Trengove began a new chapter in his AFL career at the Western Bulldogs in 2018. Trengove arrived at the Club during the off-season as one of three free agency/trade period signings, following 153 games and a best and fairest award at Port Adelaide. The versatile big man joined the Club on a three-year deal in the 2017 NAB AFL Trade Period, signing on the first day of free agency from Port Adelaide. The former Calder Cannon debuted in Round 1, 2010 against North Melbourne after being taken with the 22nd pick of the 2008 NAB AFL Draft. Trengove has shown an ability to play across all three lines, but in 2019 spent the bulk of the of the year stationed at full back, and stepped into the ruck role when Tim English was absent through injury.
