Liberatore was drafted via father-son selection in the 2010 AFL Draft and has since established himself as a key figure in the Bulldogs’ on-ball brigade. Claimed the 2014 Charles Sutton Medal in a breakout year. Was an instrumental part of the Club's finals run in 2016 despite a late-season ankle injury, and celebrated the ultimate success as a key member of the AFL Premiership. Reached the elusive 250-game milestone in 2025, becoming just the second father-son pairing to play 250 games each for the same club (father Tony played 283 games).
