Caleb Daniel is a prolific ball-winning defender and an astute decision maker. Has built a reputation as one of the competition’s best kicks. Daniel arrived at the Kennel from South Adelaide via pick 46 in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft, and made his senior debut in round 14, 2015. He played 24 games in season 2016 and finished runner-up in the NAB AFL Rising Star award while also playing a part in the Bulldogs’ drought-breaking premiership. Playing a mix of midfield-forward minutes, Daniel transitioned to a full-time role in defence in 2019 and hasn’t looked back. He enjoyed a career-best season in 2020 to claim the Charles Sutton Medal, earn maiden All-Australian honours, and notch up his 100th senior game.
